Our supporters


Nimfea Nature Conservation Association’s LIFE project is officially approved by the European Commission which starts from 1st of September 2011

The project focuses on Pásztó Pasture which Natura 2000 site has high natural values and situated between Túrkeve and Mezőtúr. The partners of the project are Herman Otto Nature Conservation Circle (HOTEK), Tiszatáj Public Foundation and the Hortobágy National Park Directorate. The project is co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry of Rural Development.
Considering its professional content during the 3 years of the project the ownership relations of the area will improve, so as the water management, the management plan of the area will be prepared which is a national obligation as well. The indigenous livestock of the Association will be increased and the animal husbandry farm which belongs to the HOTEK will be renovated. The interested farmers can follow the activities through several forums and seminars.
